Since the core of Mara Vision is evangelism, finding support for Mara Vision’s pastors and Bible teachers is what we need most.
Mara Vision focuses on the unreached people: the Maasai in Kajiado County and on the Maasai Mara as well as in the Samburu, Turkana, and Pokot tribal areas of Kenya.
Beyond the borders of Africa, Bangladesh was added in 2021. With the support of champions like you, we are able to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ within these territories where paganism rules.
Since the core of Mara Vision is evangelism, finding support for Mara Vision’s pastors and Bible teachers is what we need most. Today, nearly 135 Mara Vision workers are preaching and teaching to over 23,000 primary students, hundreds of Moran warriors, and other tribal peoples each week.
Continuing to reach both the literate and the illiterate with the gospel is our daily challenge.
While our pastors work primarily with the older illiterate people in our churches, the Bible teachers fill government classroom school days with teachings from the Scriptures.
Young students learn to read using the Bible as their textbook. Older students fill their day with practical wisdom and life lessons from God's holy Word!
The literate students in the government classrooms grow in Christ as Mara Vision teachers lead them.
